It's no secret that patients have a harder time brushing with braces than without. The pointy corners and raised nature of braces makes them a good trap for food and plaque. Poor brushing can lead to white scars on your teeth that are commonly referred to as "white spots." The good new is that proper technique isn't a challenging task and will keep your teeth clean.
